The Argonne Leadership Institute will host a group viewing of the Webinar “See Bias|Block Bias: Designing and Conducting Effective Interventions,” on Tuesday, June 27, from 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. in the Building 200 auditorium.
Presented by the Clayman Institute’s Center for the Advancement of Women’s Leadership, the webinar will focus on how to diagnose bias in key people processes, and use that information to design and execute an effective intervention.
Clayman researcher Dr. JoAnne Wehner will address the key steps in creating an intervention plan, including using data to diagnose bias “trouble spots,” picking the right focus area for your company, engaging managers in the change, developing change tools and measuring success. Wehner will offer tips on dealing with common intervention challenges such as goals clarification, pilot design, and appropriate short- and long-term success metrics.
The webinar also will demonstrate how one company used the Clayman change model to run an intervention, including discussion of specific tools and training used to successfully implement the intervention.
