The Leadership Institute at Argonne supports employees at all stages of their careers.
As part of its objective to increase the competencies and readiness of the laboratory’s current and future leaders, the Leadership Institute has identified these five critical competencies for Argonne Leadership:

- Self-Knowledge
- Directing and Developing Others
- Strategic Agility
- Accountability Focused
Leadership Institute Curricula
The Leadership Institute is developing customized curricula based on these competencies. Some series are already in the pilot stage with new pilot programs still to come. All curricula include coaching, mentoring circles and individual growth plans along with other development experiences and opportunities. Participants are selected by their management team.
